Winners of the 2013 ProModel Student Competition

Dozens entered the 2013 ProModel Student Competition, submitting high-quality simulation projects that made it difficult to choose this year's winners.

The entrants vied for cash prizes, ProModel Student Simulation packages, ProModel Media Lounger Charging Stations, certificates of achievement and, of course, bragging rights.

The projects were evaluated based on how well students gathered data, built models, conducted experiments and reported the results. After a thorough review of each project, the judges selected first, second and third place winners.

Juan Pablo de Alba Madrigal

I‘m 22 years old and I am from Guadalajara, Mexico. I am studying industrial engineering. One more year and I´ll be graduating, so I am very excited about it. I have finished a course about Six Sigma - Green Belt Level. I will be starting in a few weeks the project for my course. I like this kind of competition very much. I think ProModel has a lot of potential, it has to be used more frequently, and it is a powerful tool. It was an honor to have competed in this project.

Fabian Alejandro Sanchez Navarro

I’m a happy person who likes to do everything related to Industrial Engineering. One of my big hobbies is aviation, so part of my life plan is to have, and to fly my own airplane besides having my own industry to generate jobs and good things for people. I always like to do my best in everything I do, it doesn’t matter if it is hard, cause everything has a solution.

Congratulations to this year's ProModel Student Competition winners and the colleges they represent. Also, special thanks to all of our contest entrants, who each received a ProModel Media Lounger Charging Station for participating.
