ProModel’s Enterprise Portfolio Simulator Recognized for Outstanding Technical Achievement
As
Enterprise Portfolio Simulator (EPS) begins its final
approach towards release, it is already winning awards.
The Portfolio Simulator team is proud to announce
that EPS has won the Telerik Silverlight contest.
What is Silverlight and what does this mean to our users?
Silverlight brings the rich and powerful functionality
of traditional, windows-based applications to any web
browser, along with new capabilities. This means
that the powerful, strategic resource capacity planning
that was introduced by Portfolio Simulator, is not only
coming to your browser, but is also easier to use, much
more collaborative, and even faster to get up and running.

This update is available using the Check for Updates feature or can be downloaded from the Solutions Café. It contains the following fixes:
Fixes
- Crane rail and bridge end coordinates for a Crane network were not readjusting their values when resized even though "Recalculate path lengths when adjusted" was checked in the Options.
- The application would crash during simulation after a preempted conveyor or queue came back online and attempted to regain a resource.
- The application would crash at the end of simulation if it ended when a location or resource was executing a shift that was completely blank (i.e. no work was defined).
Includes 3DR version 2.0.14.106 containing the following fixes:
- The hotkey to invoke the Histogram creation dialog was Ctrl+V and conflicted with the standard Windows hotkey to paste contents from the Clipboard.
- Failed arrival records showing zero failed arrivals no longer are included in the table
