ProModel Supports US Army Forces with AST

The ARFORGEN Synchronization Toolset - AST - is a suite of applications that provides the U.S. military with a new and innovative approach to the management, resourcing, and global synchronization of Army resources.  Already the technical solution for FORSCOM in support of ARFORGEN, AST enables staff and decision makers to conduct predictive course of action analysis on unit deployments, utilization, policy decisions, and business practices.  This powerful toolset can now provide FORSCOM with a common platform and automation methodology to determine and resource force requirements, allowing leaders to make informed decisions that account for risk, in a matter of hours, instead of weeks.

AST can address the impact of present deployment decisions, as well as generating force needs as far as 12 years into the future.  It handles a multitude of complex inter-dependent events and accounts for variability to produce a synchronized and predictive portrayal of Army Force Generation.
