ProModel Hosts First Pharmaceutical Industry Conference:

Capacity and Productivity Improvement for the Pharmaceutical Industry - Using Simulation Technology to Improve Decision Making Capability

ProModel Corporation hosted its first Pharmaceutical Industry Conference October 11-12, 2006 at the Marriott Eastside New York. The conference titled Capacity and Productivity Improvement for the Pharmaceutical Industry - Using Simulation Technology to Improve Decision Making Capability was designed to allow simulation users in the Pharma Industry to share with their colleagues how they are using simulation technology to make better decisions - faster. Presentations given by Pfizer, Wyeth, Smiths Medical, Tunnell Consulting and others demonstrated how these companies are utilizing predictive simulation solutions throughout all levels of the enterprise (Strategic, Tactical, and Operational) and across functions from R&D through Manufacturing.

The approximately 50 attendees and speakers enjoyed presentations and an interactive panel discussion on the first day. The evening included a private cocktail reception and dinner at which people had plenty of time to get to know each other, network, and relax. The second day included presentations in the morning followed by small group meetings and individual Q&A sessions after lunch.
