This month’s release of Version 7.0 coincides with the expansion of the Manufacturing and Logistics Solutions division at ProModel. A year in the planning, it brings added capacity for services and will increase on-site offerings as well as opening the door to more up-front analysis for new customers. This expansion includes the addition of three members to our business development team located in Bethlehem PA, Detroit MI and Greenville SC. Each member brings a unique background to the manufacturing and logistics business and will provide greater customer support to our user base.

Jim Combs, Southeast Regional Manager
Jim began his career in 1985 with MOVATS, Inc. a subsidiary of Westinghouse’s (NSD) Nuclear Support Division in Atlanta, GA working as a Test Engineer and Project Manger. During his 9 year tenure; Jim traveled to France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Canada, Mexico, and most of the US working Refueling Outages and Plant Start Ups. In 1994 after getting burnt out of the nuclear industry, Jim took his expertise and experience to DataStream Systems Inc. an up and coming Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) company out of Greenville, SC. There he helped develop the project management team and was promoted to various sales positions including Sales Manger and Strategic Account Manager for the Power Generation and Oil / Gas verticals. Jim was consistently a top producer achieving quota and club member. Before joining ProModel in September, Jim worked at Indus International as a Strategic Sales Executive for the Mid-Atlantic Region selling Mobile Computing, Field Service, and Dispatch and Scheduling solutions to Fortune 500 companies. Craig Impastato, Great Lakes Regional Manager
Craig is a senior industry consultant with 20 years experience with manufacturing/logistics, business process modeling, CAD applications and discrete event simulation technologies. Craig has represented process improvement software technologies and has supported commercial, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical industries within the Fortune 500. Prior to working as a sales manager, Craig worked at General Motors in automotive design engineering and at EDS as a CAD applications engineer.
