ProModel announces new features for ED Simulator 2.0
New features for ED Simulator 2.0 include the following:
New
Reports
- ED Census Histogram – a stacked-bar time series graph
showing a breakdown of where patients are in the ED at
any hour of the day
- ED Census Stacked Percentage – a graph showing how
many patients were in the ED at any hour of the day based
upon user-defined
census intervals
- Patient Departure Reports – graphs showing hospital
diverts and patient LWBS
- Compliance Report – graph showing whether the resource-to-patient
ratio is compliant with hospital standards
- Length of Stay Histogram – enhanced to show more
detail about how long patients stayed in the ED
New Report Options
- View the entire week (Mon-Sun) for time series charts (previously
could only view one day at a time)
- View multiple scenario data
at one time
- Option to manually set Y-axis viewable range
New UI Inputs
- Process Profiles – tasks can now be displayed in
a process hierarchy
- Resources – now definable in three types (bed, equipment,
and personnel)
- Patient Profiles – can now specify a patient arrival
pattern for each day of the week
- Shifts – now definable in 15 minute increments
- User Distributions - can now add user-definable custom
distributions to match data collected from actual ED processes.
