June 18, 2003 –– Bethlehem, PA –– ProModel Solutions, a business process optimization and decision support company, today announced the launch of ProModel VAO Healthcare Solutions and named Patrick C. Simonson, CHE, as Vice President and General Manager to lead Healthcare Solutions.
ProModel VAO Healthcare Solutions are designed to help hospitals improve productivity through an innovative combination of ProModel simulation applications, technologies and services enabling hospitals, for the first time, to identify and solve their most immediate operational problems in a timely and cost effective manner. Simonson brings a wealth of hospital and healthcare leadership experience to ProModel. He is a Certified Healthcare Executive (CHE) with 23 years of experience in senior management positions in healthcare business development, physician & consulting practices, corporate roles and hospitals. Prior to joining ProModel, Simonson was an executive at Community Health Systems, Inc. and over the last 20 years has served in an executive capacity for multiple healthcare, technology and hospital organizations.
