Professor Package

• Available for ProModel, MedModel, and ServiceModel
• Provides professional level capabilities of the software
• Available only for educational purposes (not to be used for commercial consulting)
• Includes CD with ProModel/MedModel/ServiceModel, SimRunner, Stat::Fit, ProActiveX, digital manuals for these products, and many other useful tools. (This package does not contain a printed user guide which must be purchased separately.)
• Professors receive access to the Solutions Café (ProModel Member Site) for 1 year.

• All ProModel training courses are offered at a reduced price (about 50%).

Lab Package

• Available for ProModel, MedModel, and ServiceModel
• May be purchased as a 20-User, or 50-User Lab Package.
• Provides professional level capabilities of the software for specific number of concurrent users. The software may be installed on any number of computers, and the licenses float on the network.
• Available only for educational purposes (not to be used for commercial consulting)
• Includes CD with ProModel/MedModel/ServiceModel, SimRunner, Stat::Fit, ProActiveX, digital manuals for these products, and many other useful tools. (This package does not contain a printed user guide which must be purchased separately.)

• Provides 15 professional level licenses of Process Simulator that can be installed on any 15 computers in a computer lab.
• Includes Process Simulator installation CD and one printed Process Simulator User Guide. Also includes free access to online help system and tutorial.

The first ProModel Academic Simulation Competition was held at the 2011 Predictive Analytics with Simulation Conference in Orlando, Florida. More than 50 students from the U.S., Mexico and the United Kingdom registered for the simulation competition.

The contest finalists presented their final project and models to a ProModel panel of judges with educational, technical and commercial backgrounds and engaged the finalists with challenging questions regarding their final projects before the panel determined the winners. The winners presented their projects again in the Academic session held on Tuesday afternoon at the Predictive Analytics with Simulation Conference.

In addition to the competition, professors that registered for the conference were able to attend and participate in the Academic session. There were a number of presentations and discussions that focused on ways to teach and best practices to teach simulation on the university level. The round-table discussion hosted by Dr. Charles Harrell, founder of ProModel Corporation and professor at Brigham Young University, was a favorite.

Attendees, including the professors and competition finalists, were also able to brush up their skills and participate in a number of the training courses after the conference. Two of our student finalists (Rogelio Enriquez Barajas & Karin Gomez Ramos at ITESO Tech-Mexico) were able to join the post-conference advanced simulation class. It was a great opportunity to gain more knowledge with industry professionals.
